Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Office of the Director General, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), New Delhi has given notification for the recruitment of 872 Sub-Inspector (Communication), Assistant Sub- Inspector (Communication), Head Constable vacancies in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on temporary basis. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format within 30 days from date of advt & 45 days for remote areas. 2. Assistant Sub- Inspector (Communication): 110 Posts
3. Head Constable (Communication): 746 Posts
Age Limit: Candidate age limit is 18 to 25 years for Post 1, 2 & 18 to 23 years for Post 3 as on closing date of receipt of applications. Upper age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC & Other candidates is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in Electronics or Telecommunication or Science with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized university or Institute or equivalent for Post 1, Matric with Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication, 10+2 or Intermediate with 50% marks for Post 2, Matriculation or equivalent, ITI in Electronics or Intermediate or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for Post 3.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Bio-Metric Exam, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), documentation, written examination, trade test & medical examination.
Examination Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs. 200/- for SI, Rs.100/- for HC, ASI by DD/ Bankers Cheque/ IPO in favour of Inspector General, Frontier, HQ, SSB, Ranikhet SBI, Ranikhet Branch Code – 0704 for Post 1, 3 & Accounts Officer, SBI Chenikuthi Branch Code – 7976 for Post 2. No fee for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen candidates.
