पझौता आंदोलन  In Hindi- पझौता आंदोलन सिरमौर के पझौता में 1942 ई. को हुआ | यह भारत छोड़ों आंदोलन का भाग था | सिरमौर रियासत के लोगों ने राजा के कर्मचारियों की घूसखोरी व तानाशाही के खिलाफ "पझौता किसान सभा" का गठन किया | आंदोलन के नेता लक्ष्मी सिंह, वैद्य सूरत सिंह, मियाँ चूचूँ, बस्ती राम पहाड़ी थे | सात माह तक किसान नेताओं और आंदोलनकारियों ने पुलिस और सरकारी अधिकारी को पझौता में घुसने नहीं दिया | आंदोलन के दौरान पझौता इलाके में चूचूँ मियाँ के नेतृत्व में किसान सभा का प्रभुत्त्व स्थापित हो गया |


The Pazhota movement took place in Sirmour's Pazhota in 1942 AD. This was part of the Quit India Movement. The people of Sirmaur princely state formed a "Pazhata Kisan Sabha" against bribery and dictatorship of the king's servants. The leaders of the movement were Lakshmi Singh, Vaidya Surat Singh, Mian Chuchun, Basti Ram Pahadi. For seven months, the farmer leaders and agitators did not allow the police and government officials to enter into the pact. During the agitation, the dominance of the Kisan Sabha was established under the leadership of Chuchun Mian in Pazhota area.
