 IIIT, Una has been established as an Institute of National Importance under the MoE by an Act of Parliament No. 23 of 2017. Expression of interest is hereby invited by the undersigned on behalf of IIIT, Una for 02 post of electrician from the interested and eligible candidates. Candidates are directed to submit their applications through the google form link latest by 15, Mar.’23 (05:00 P.M.). The institute reserves the right to call only shortlisted candidates for the selection/interview process. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection/interview process. Essential qualification and Experience requirement for the post of Electrician:

Name of the Post:- Electrician: Semiskilled 

 Nature of Post :-Outsourced 

No. of Post :-Two 

 Age Limit :-30 year 

 Essential Qualification :-

i) Secondary (10Th) with at least 50% marks

 ii) ITI Certificate of 2 year duration in Electrician/Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade. 

Desirable Qualification :-

i) Senior Secondary (10+2) from a government recognized board with at least 50% marks 

ii) Diploma in Engineering of three year’s duration in relevant field from a government Polytechnic/Institute. 

 Experience:- Candidate must have experience in field of electrical wiring, air conditioner, refrigeration, and maintenance as an electrician from CPWD/State PWD or similar organized services/semi-Govt./PSU/Statutory or Autonomous organization or private industry.

 1. Minimum 03 years of experience for 10th pass having ITI certification

 2. Minimum 02 years of experience for Diploma Holder. 

General terms and Conditions: 

i) The post is purely temporary. 

ii) The post is for a period of one year from the date of joining, initially and later extendable based on performance.

 iii) The selected candidate will have no right whatsoever to the permanent employment/regularization, etc. 

iv) The assignment can be terminated with advance three-month notice period from either side under normal circumstances. However, the institute may terminate the services with less notice period also. 

v) After expiry of the said period, employment shall stand terminated automatically unless the same is extended by the outsourced agent. 

vi) The employee shall strictly observe the code of conduct, Institute norms, Rules and polices prescribed by the institute from time to time during the period of deployment. Note: The aforesaid terms and conditions shall be supplementary and in addition to the terms of appointment order, which shall be issued to the selected candidate. Any application submitted after the specified time and or with incomplete information will not be accepted.
