Counselling Schedule for B.Ed. admission (Academic Year 2022-23, Beginning Feburary 2023):-HPU Shimla

Before going through the Counseling Schedule, please read following instructions/information carefully. 

• The candidates must bring Printout of "Online Admission Form", all the original requisite documents along with one set of photocopies of the same at the time of personal counseling (See documents lists mentioned at Page No. 9 & 10, in Information Brochure, Admission to B.Ed. (ODL) Mode, Academic Year 2022-23, Academic session beginning February 2023. 
• The In-service teachers (Shastri/Vishisht Shastri/Acharya/Jyotishacharya and Language Teachers/Prabhakar) without OT Training and LT Training respectively are eligible for admission to B. Ed. Course as per NCTE norms subject to the production of ORIGINAL SPECIAL CERTIFICATE issued by Director of Elementary Education, H.P. Government only. (SEE ANNEXURE-1)
•  Original Detail Marks Cards (DMCs) of qualifying examinations (First Year, Second Year and Final Year) and also of Post- Graduation if any. If any candidate has passed his/her UG or PG from other than H.P. University, he/she should bring with them UGC or UGC-DEB Recognition Letter. See sample of UGC/ UGC-DEB letter for H.P. University. (SEE ANNEXURE-2) 
• The candidates who are unable to attend their counseling may authorize the other individual for attending the counseling along with all original necessary documents, authority letter with photo fixed on letter, ID proof of the person appearing for the Counseling and fees etc. as per Authority letter format. (SEE ANNEXURE-3) 
• The candidates who have completed their D.El.Ed. through NIOS must be In- Service and should bring the latest employment certificate duly signed by Head of the Institution (SEE ANNEXURE-4). Such candidates are also required to bring with them their Appointment Letter, Photocopy of Joining report, School affiliation letter, Experience certificate etc. The candidates who will get admission to B.Ed. Course, have to deposit the requisite fee (Rs.14800/-) for first year through ATM Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net- Banking (No cash payment will be allowed) only after confirmation of their admission at the time of counseling. 
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Personal Counseling. The relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped Categories will be as per the existing rules of Himachal Pradesh University. 
• Reservation Roaster of Himachal Pradesh University is being followed for making admissions to B.Ed. course. Reservation will only be given to H. P. Domicile candidates. The teachers with NTT qualification are not eligible for admission to B.Ed. course as per NCTE norms.
