Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow in DST- SERB, GOI, New Delhi -110070, funded rescarch project, (File No,. no. SRG/2021/001114 dated 30 December, 2021) entitlied "Molecular authentication of Rauvolfia species from southern Western Ghats of India, using DNA barcoding" in the Department of Plant Sciences, School of Life Sciences, Central University of Himachal Pradesh. The Post will be filled up on contract basis from the date of joining. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The details of the position are mentioned below

Essential/Desirable Qualification

Essential: Maters Degree in Botany/Plant Biotechnology Plant Science or Equivalent degree in Life Sciences from UGC recognized University/Institute with NET/SLFT/or valid GATE score etc

Desirable qualification: Experience in Plant Taxonomy. DNA Barcoding. Molecular Biology& Bioinformatics
