Applications from Indian nationals are invited under the following project on a temporary basis with a consolidated salary. The renewal of services for a few months/years or up to the duration of the project will be based on satisfactory performance. The initial appointment will be for a period of 6 months or the end of the project (whichever is earlier).

Consolidated Pay-slab / Salary :-Rs 31,000/- p.m. plus HRA as applicable according the institute norm
Qualifications Potential candidate should have B.Tech./M.Tech. in ECE / Material Science and Engineering or Master’s in Physics/Chemistry or equivalent degree with 70% marks (CGPA > 8). Valid NET or GATE score.

Desirable Qualification Good knowledge in solid-state device physics. Experimental hand on thin film preparation and PV/photodetector device fabrications. Fundamental knowledge on PVs, photodetectors, and LEDs desirable. Knowledge on programming languages such as MATLAB or C++ also required (but not compulsory). Terms and Conditions:
- No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the offline Interview (online interview preferable).
- The PI & Co-PI reserve the right to conduct or not conduct interview for the post. The Screening Committee may fix higher criteria for shortlisting the candidates and date of online interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidate only.
- PI & Co-PIs reserve the right to fill up the post, not to fill up the post or cancel the advertisement in whole or partly without assigning any reason. The PI & Co-PIs will also reserve the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates as per requirement of the nature of project job to be called for interview without any further clarifications/justifications at any level. The decision of the project PIs in this regard will be final.
