In reference to advertisement issued by Local Audit Department, Chandigarh Administration on 11.03.2023, published in newspapers as well as website of Chandigarh Administration, it is hereby informed that the in accordance with the Government of India Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training letter no. No. 36034/3/2013-Estt.(Res.) dated 25th Feb 2014 the ex-serviceman are eligible for age relaxation as under: “For appointment to vacancies in Group B (Non-Gazetted), Group C or Group D posts in Central Government, an ex-servicemen shall be allowed to deduct the period of actual military service from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post for which he is seeking appointment by more than three years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit.” The revised last date of application is 28.04.2023. The last date for deposit of fee is 03.05.2023
