Explanation:-बीबीएमबी को आईपीपीएआई पावर अवाडर्स में आठ अप्रैल को वर्ष 2022-23 के लिए सर्वश्रेष्ठ जल विद्युत उत्पादक पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया। यह पुरस्कार विद्युत क्षेत्र में सबसे प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कारों में से एक है। यह पुरस्कार हरित ऊर्जा उत्पादन में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने वाली और सतत भविष्य की प्राप्ति हेतु राष्ट्र के प्रयासों में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देने वाली जल विद्युत इकाइयों को मान्यता के रूप में दिया जाता है। इस पुरस्कार समारोह में विद्युत क्षेत्र के कई प्रतिष्ठित गणमान्य लोगों ने हिस्सा लिया। इस दौरान बीबीएमबी अध्यक्ष संजय श्रीवास्तव ने संगठन की ओर से यह पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने कहा कि यह पुरस्कार प्राप्त करना एक सम्मान की बात है। हमें गर्व है कि हमें विद्युत के क्षेत्र में यह मान्यता मिली है। हम राष्ट्रीय नवी करणीय ऊर्जा लक्ष्यों की दिशा में योगदान करने और विशुद्ध शून्य उत्सर्जन तक पहुंचने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं। बीबीएमबी ने पहले भाखड़ा और पाँग जलाशयों की परिधि में लगभग 12,900 मेगावाट पंप स्टोरेज संयंत्रों के लिए कुल आठ स्थलों की पहचान की है, जो क्रियान्वयन के बाद भागीदार राज्यों की ऑफ सोलर (पीक) विद्युत जरूरतों को पूरा किया जा रहा है।
