Explanation:-विकास खंड सुलह स्थित भेडू महादेव की ग्राम पंचायत जमूला को बालिका गौरव पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है। प्रदेश सरकार की ओर से पंचायत को 10 लाख रुपये की इनामी राशि प्रदान की गई । विकास खंड सुलह के विकास खंड अधिकारी योगेंद्र सिंह ने सभी ग्राम पंचायतों के नाम जिला स्तर पर भेजे थे। इसमें ग्राम पंचायत जमूला को जिला कांगड़ा में पहले स्थान पर चुना गया। बालिका गौरव पुरस्कार पंचायत स्तर पर लड़के और लड़कियों के लिंग अनुपात के आधार पर दिया जाता है। जिस पंचायत में लड़कियों की संख्या लड़कों से ज्यादा होती है, उस पंचायत को बालिका गौरव पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाता है। ग्राम पंचायत प्रधान रीना कटोच ने बताया की ग्राम पंचायत जमूला में लिंग अनुपात के आधार पर लड़कियों की संख्या लड़कों से ज्यादा है। वर्ष 2022-23 के लिए उनकी पंचायत को पुरस्कृत किया गया। इसमें सरकार की तरफ से 10 लाख रुपये की नकद राशि भी प्रदान की गई है।
