सभी प्रकार के सूर्य ग्रहण के दौरान अग्नि वलय नहीं दिखाई देता। इसका निर्माण केवल उस स्थिति में होता है जब सूर्य का केंद्र चंद्रमा से इस प्रकार ढक जाए कि सूर्य का केवल बाहरी किनारा ही दिखाई दे। इस प्रकार दिखाई देने वाला सूर्य का बाहरी किनारा एक आग के छल्ले की भांति प्रतीत होता है जिसे वलय कहते हैं। सूर्य ग्रहण को आंखों में बिना कोई उपकरण लगाए देखना खतरनाक साबित हो सकता है, जिससे स्थायी अंधापन या फिर रेटिना में जलन हो सकती है, जिसे सोलर रेटिनोपैथी कहते हैं। सूर्य से उत्सर्जित खतरनाक पराबैंगनी किरणें रेटिना में मौजूद उन कोशिकाओं को नष्ट कर देती हैं जिनका कार्य रेटिना की सूचनाएं मस्तिष्क तक पहुंचाना होता है। इस कारण अंधापन और दृश्यता नष्ट हो सकती है। हिंदू धर्म में सूर्य ग्रहण का बहुत महत्व है। पौराणिक कथाओं में सूर्य ग्रहण की घटना को राहु-केतु के द्वारा ग्रास करने के तौर पर देखा जाता है।Himexam.com राहु और केतु दोनों ही छाया ग्रह और राक्षस गण से संबंध रखते हैं। कथा के अनुसार जब समुद्र मंथन के दौरान निकले अमृत को भगवान विष्णु मोहिनी का रूप धारण कर सभी देवताओं को पिला रहे तो राहु और केतु इस बात को जान गए कि भगवान विष्णु सिर्फ देवताओं को ही अमृतपान करा रहे हैं। तब राक्षस ने चुपके से जाकर देवताओं की पंक्ति में जाकर मोहिन के हाथों से अमृतपान कर लिया था। अमृतपान करने के दौरान चंद्रमा और सूर्यदेव ने यह देख लिया था। यह बात जैसे ही भगवान विष्णु को पता चली उन्होंने तुरंत ही अपने सुदर्शन चक्र से राक्षस का सिर धड़ से अलग कर दिया। तभी से राहु और केतु समय-समय पर सूर्य और चंद्रमा पर ग्रहण लगाते आ रहे हैं। विज्ञान के अनुसार सूर्य ग्रहण को एक तरह की खगोलीय घटना माना गया है। जब चंद्रमा सूर्य और पृथ्वी के बीच आ जाता है तब ऐसी स्थिति में सूर्य का प्रकाश धरती पर नहीं पहुंच पाता और चंद्रमा सूर्य को ढक लेता तो इस घटना को सूर्यग्रहण कहते हैं।Himexam.com

Where a case rests upon circumstantial evidence, such evidence in order to base conviction, must be complete and incapable of explanation of any other hypothesis than that of guilt of the accused and such evidence should not only be consistent with the guilt of the accused but should be inconsistent with his innocence. In these circumstances because it is a case of circumstantial evidence, this Court has to satisfy its judicial conscience as to whether by way of circumstantial evidence produced on record by the prosecution, it has been able to link the commission of the offence with the accused or not. Now, we will apply the above salient features to the facts of the present case in order to ascertain as to whether there is any infirmity or perversity with the judgment passed by the learned trial Court in the present case. The first important circumstance is the alleged kidnapping of the deceased by A-1 and A-2 on 04.01.2010 from near the under construction Hospital at Ani.Himexam.com Case of the prosecution is that on 04.01.2010, the deceased was called at Ani by A-3 on the pretext that sale deed had to be executed in her favour with regard to a house. This fact was brought into the notice of her father by the deceased. Further, as per the prosecution, on the morning of 04.01.2010, deceased met her father at Bus Stand Ani, from where they went to Babaji Sweet Corner and had tea. When they were having tea, deceased received a call from A-3 Bakshi Ram and the deceased was asked to reach at Tehsil Office alone. On this, deceased left her father for Tehsil Office. The case of the prosecution further is that A-1, husband of the deceased met her near the under Construction Hospital at Ani and the deceased thereafter left alongwith her husband A-1 in the Santro Car. After this, the deceased was never seen. According to the prosecution, Deep Chand and Ashwani Kumar had seen A-1 taking the deceased from near the under construction Hospital in his vehicle alongwith A-2. Incidentally, neither Deep Chand nor Ashwani Kumar were examined by the prosecution as witnesses. Therefore, there is no material on record to substantiate this contention otherwise.Himexam.com
