IIT Mandi Faculty Fellowship Notification 2023:-Job Profile
The iHub faculty fellow would be called the “iHub Fellow,” and the Fellow would be affiliated for the duration of the fellowship with iHub at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi. The Fellow is expected to pursue research in the area of HCI at the iHub. Potential activities that the Faculty Fellow may engage in at the iHub would include:
- The iHub Faculty Fellow is expected to do research and technology development at the iHub in areas related to “Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Industrial Design, Cognitive Science, and Multisensory Applications”.
- Human-Computer Interaction addresses the sub-areas of Assistive Technologies, Experience Technologies, and Device-led Technologies.
- The research should have relevance to address to need of the specific industries.
- To develop technology for industrial adoption covering industries namely Healthcare, Automobile Manufacturing, Defence & Security, Environment & Agriculture, and Information Technology.
- Participating in grant writing and proposal development for internal and external funding opportunities.
IIT Mandi Faculty Fellowship Joining Date: As soon as possible.
Number of Fellowship: Three
IIT Mandi Faculty Fellowship Essential Qualification:-
1. The candidate should have two years of experience post-completion of the Ph.D. This experience is expected to be in industry or academia in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Industrial Design, Cognitive Science, and Multisensory Applications.
2. Age limit: Preferably less than 35 years. Age will not be a bar for exceptionally qualified candidates.
3. The nationality of the candidate is not a constraint.
4. Demonstrate excellence in research through technology development, patents, and publications in top-tier journals/conferences.
5. The overall CGPA of the applicant should be greater than or equal to 7.0
6. Candidate must be qualified for GATE/GPAT/ NET or equivalent examination.
