Important Information to the Applicants for the Post of Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Informatics:- HPCU
1. The University had advertised the aforesaid teaching post vide Employment Notice No. 001/2022 dated 15.06.2022.
2. The University received online applications for the aforesaid post and applications were screened by the Screening Committees constituted by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. The Screening Committee checked and verified the records submitted online by each applicant and determined their eligibility strictly in accordance with the minimum qualification prescribed by the University vide Employment Notice No. 001/2022 dated 15.06.2022 and UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education 2018. The eligibility of the applicants has been determined as on the last date of receipt of applications as per the Advertisement for the posts.
3. The list of all applicants who have applied for the aforesaid teaching position, giving their critical information and decision of the Screening Committee with regard to their eligibility or non-eligibility status (Provisionally eligible or Not eligible) is placed below.
4. The concerned applicants can see the comments of screening committee w.r.t. their provisionally eligible/not eligible status by logging into his/her dashboard of the Samarth online portal (https://cuhimachalrec.samarth.edu.in).
5. Decision with regard to Shortlisting of applicants as provisionally Eligible/Not Eligible has been made on the basis of their claim/information/certificates furnished/attached and uploaded in their application forms. Although, the benefit of doubt has been given to the candidates. However, the Applicants shall have to substantiate their claim at the time of interview through original documentary proofs in respect of their eligibility to the Document Verification Committee before appearing in the interview.
6. The applicants shortlisted and called for document verification before the interview must bring one self-attested set of all the documents (educational qualification/category/EWS/Disability certificate, teaching/research experience, research papers/articles/books/projects/awards/ebooks/seminars/conferences/workshops/e-content/MOOCs/research guidance etc.) which they have uploaded/mentioned in the application form. No additional document other than the information mentioned in the application form shall be accepted/considered.
7. Applicants must ensure that their details are correct and that they meet the minimum eligibility requirements, failing which they shall not be allowed to appear for Interview before the Selection Committee.
8. Although all efforts have been made to ensure accuracy in preparing the list, possibility of inadvertent error or typographical mistake / omission cannot be ruled out. The University will incorporate the genuine and justified requests/objection/representation, if any, on receipt from applicants within the stipulated period. The Candidate desirous to submit his/her requests/objection/representation (If any) w.r.t. to their status of eligibility, are advised to send their list of documents through email: registrar@hpcu.ac.in and upload the respective details in prescribed format (attached at ‘Annexure-1’ below) by logging into his/her dashboard of the Samarth online portal (https://cuhimachalrec.samarth.edu.in) from 28.04.2023, 11:00AM onwards to 05.05.2023 till 05:00PM. The requests/objection/representation received after the stipulated time period shall not be considered in any case.
9. No request of applicant for any addition/correction in the online application form shall be entertained.
10. The Screening Committee has screened all the applications with due care. However, in case of misrepresentation of facts by the candidate found at any stage shall lead to cancellation of his/her candidature.
11. Those in-service eligible candidates who have not submitted their applications through proper channel or have submitted advance copy of their application in anticipation are compulsorily required to submit NOC from their employer before the interview.
12. Mere Provisionally Eligible/Provisionally Shortlisting shall not entail any candidate a right for calling the interview.
