Ukraine grain corridor will start again
Ukraine grain corridor will start again :-Ukraine's 'Grain Corridor' will resume its work under the Black Sea Grain Initiative. This information was given by the state media according to the report of the Interfax-Ukrain news agency. Following intensive discussions within the Joint Coordination Center (JCC), regular inspections supported by the UN and Turkey are planned to resume on 12 April, said Stéphane Dujarric, spokesman for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Dujarric said that 50 ships are waiting to go to Ukrainian ports. On July 22 last year, Russia and Ukraine separately signed a document in Istanbul with Turkey and the United Nations on grain and fertilizer exports to ensure supplies to global markets amid the Russia-Ukraine war.
So far, Ukraine has exported over 27.5 million tons of food items under the Black Sea Grain Initiative. The deal was initially effective for 120 days, which was renewed through November 2022 and March 2023.
