 UNESCO's two-day sub-regional conference in Bhopal from 17:-The Sub-Regional Conference on World Heritage is being organized in Bhopal from 17 to 18 April, the 50th anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage Convention. The conference was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Bhopal, UNESCO New Delhi office. These charges will be made in the presence of Hichkiel Dlamini and Tourism Minister Sushri Usha Thakur. Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Shiv Shekhar Shukla said that in the two-day session, representatives from India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Sri Lanka and various states of the country will discuss achievements, challenges and future strategies in the field of conservation of world heritage sites. 

The conference will look at the achievements of the last 50 years towards the conservation of World Heritage at the international and regional level and brainstorm the next 50 years, with a focus on World Heritage and Sustainable Development, World Heritage and Sustainable Tourism, World Heritage and Global Strategy, Historic Urban There will be subjects like landscape. The conference will focus on an integrated approach to safeguard cultural heritage and promote sustainable tourism.
