Applications for the following posts of Deans/Directors (Statutory Officers), Associate Directors, Principal Scientist/Equivalent and Senior Scientist/Equivalent are invited on the prescribed form which may be downloaded from University Website http : //www. hillagric.ac.in. However, the application for the statutory posts will be considered valid if it is accompanied by a Bank Draft of prescribed fee of Rs. 2790/- (Rs. Two thousand seven hundred ninety only) for un-reserved category candidates and Rs. 698/- (Rs. six hundred ninety eight only) for reserved category candidates. For the posts of Associate Director, Principal Scientist /Equivalent and Senior Scientist/Equivalent prescribed fee is Rs. 1790/- (Rs. one thousand seven hundred and ninety only) for un-reserved category candidates and Rs. 448/- (Rs. four hundred forty eight only) for reserved category candidates (alongwith self attested copy of SC/ST/OBC Certificate) in the shape of Bank Draft payable at State Bank of India, HPAU, Palampur drawn in favour of the Comptroller, CSKHPKV, Palampur, HP. Applications complete in all respects should reach the office of the Assistant Registrar (Recruitment), CSK H.P. Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur-176062, Distt. Kangra, H.P latest by 09.06.2023 upto 5.00PM. The candidates applying from tribal areas/ abroad may send their application form complete in all respect latest by 24.06.2023 upto 5.00PM.

Application Form may be downloaded from the University Website http://www.hillagric.ac.in. Application Forms on cash payment will not be sold by the Recruitment Branch. The score card as prescribed/notified by the University vide notification No. QSD.1 33/2011-CSKHPKV (GA)/-53261-355 dated 23.09.2015 and uploaded on the University site www.hillagric.ac.in shall be applicable for the posts of Deans/Director, Associate DirectorPrincipal Scientist/Equivalent and Senior Scientist/Equivalent. The candidates must fulfill the requisite qualifications /required experience on the last date of receipt of applications. The applicant must be a citizen of India. Fee once deposited shall neither be refunded nor adjusted.

The Posts of Dean/Director (Statutory Posts) will be filled up on tenure basis for a period of five years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier. The incumbent of the post can compete for second tenure also. The appointment of Dean/Director can be terminated even before the completion of the tenure as per provisions of the University Statutes. The candidates applying for the positions of Dean/Director (Statutory Posts) and for the post of Associate Directors must have minimum 2 years service remaining for retirement on superannuation on the last date of receipt of applications. Separate applications should be submitted for each post.

University reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up any of the posts advertised. Only those eligible candidates for the above post(s) will be considered in-absentia who at the time of interview are working outside the country. The number of posts may vary depending upon the need of the University. Incomplete applications or those received after the last date for receipt of applications will not be entertained and rejected straightway. The canvassing direct or indirect will amount to disqualification. Applicants already In-service should send their application form through proper channel with advance copy to this University to avoid rejection of their candidature owing to late receipt of application form. The candidates having thorough knowledge of the manner, customs and dialects of the people of the Pradesh shall be given preference especially in Extension Education.
