Explanation:-हर वर्ष 01 मई को विश्व भर में मजदूर दिवस' मनाया जाता है। इसकी शुरुआत 1886 में अमेरिका में हुए थी। 1 मई 1886 को अमेरिका में मजदूर आंदोलन शुरू हुआ था। उस समय मजदूरों से 15-15 घंटे काम लिया जाता था इसके विरोध में मजदूर सड़कों पर उतर आए थे। प्रदर्शन करने वाले मजदूरों पर पुलिस ने गोलीबारी की थी जिसमे बहुत सारे मजदूरों की मृत्यु हो गयी थी। 1889 में अंतरराष्ट्रीय समाजवादी सम्मेलन का आयोजन हुआ था जिसमे यह फैसला हुआ की हर मजदूर से हर दिन में 8 घंटे काम लिया जायेगा। अमेरिका में मजदूर दिवस की शुरुआत होने के 34 साल बाद 1 मई 1923 को भारत में भी मजदूर दिवस की शुरुआत हुए थी।
