Important Notice For H.P. Judicial Service Competitive Examination-2023:- HPPSC Shimla:-Apropos to advertisement No. 5/4-2023 dated 22-04-2023 whereby 17 posts of Civil Judge were published through H.P. Judicial Service Competitive Examination-2023 and detailed advertisement was also uploaded on Commission’s website (http://www.hppsc.hp.gov.in), it is notified for information of all concerned that as per amendment made by the Hon’ble High Court in the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service (Syllabus and Allocation of Marks) (8th amendment) Regulations, 2023 dated 09-05-2023, para 2 of the Item No. 13 (a) (Preliminary Examination) of the said advertisement shall be stand deleted and is substituted with the following:-

“Each paper in Civil Law-I, Civil Law-II and Criminal Law shall consist of 50 Objective Type multiple choice questions with two marks for each question but there shall not be any negative marking in the preliminary examination. The examination in all the three papers shall be held on the same day. The syllabus for the Preliminary Examination shall be the same as provided for Paper-I to III for the Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination will be held on 09-07-2023.

The result of Preliminary examination shall be published and also displayed on official website of the Commission. No individual intimation shall be given to the candidates”. Other terms and conditions of the Advertisement referred above shall remain unchanged.
