Applications on the prescribed form are invited for filling up of the following temporary post under the project entitled "Value addition of sand pear : Waste to worth approach for sustainable livelihood of Rural population" (HMS-651-05) operational in the Deptt. of Food Science and Technology, College of Horticulture, Nauni. Interview date:- 09-06-2023 at 11 AM in Deptt. of Food Science & Technology, UHF,Nauni

The processing fee will be Rs. 450/- for General category candidates and Rs. 110/- for reserve category candidates. The reserved category candidates shall have to attach self attested copy of (SC/ST/OBC/PH) certificate. Application form will be considered valid, if it is accompanied with prescribed processing fee in the shape of IPO/Bank draft in the name of Comptroller, Dr. Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni and payable at State Bank of India/UCO Bank, Nauni, Solan-173230(HP). The application form complete in all respects should reach in the Department of Food Science and Technology on 06-06-2023 by 5.00 PM. 


Important terms and conditions : 

1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.

 2. Application fee once paid will not be refunded. The candidate selected for appointment shall have to execute a service contract agreement after their selection. 

3. The upper age limit will be 35 years for men and 40 for women years on the date of advertisement. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/person with disabilities as per provision in Rules/Instructions of the HP Govt. The minimum and maximum age limit shall be reckoned on the last date fixed for the receipt of applications. 

4. The candidates having Marks issued in the form of CGPA/OGPA should attach approved conversion table/formula along with the application.

 5. The appointment on this post will be made at a fixed salary, purely temporary basis on "co-terminus" basis with the project concerned and availability of funds, whichever is earlier. The candidate applying for this post shall have no claim for their regularization against the said post.

 6. Applicant already working in any project should sent their application form through their PI/HOD. 

7. Incomplete application or those received after the last date will not be entertained and will be rejected straightway and the fee paid will not be refunded. 

8. The University reserves the right not to fill up the post without assigning any reason. 

9. Expenses for appearing in the interview will be borne by the candidate. 

10. The University will not accept as valid any arguments or plea such as breakdown, mail communications, illness etc for non attendance of interview and verification of documents, where required. 

11. The candidate must write his/her telephone/mobile No. and e-mail Id on the application form.

 12. The candidate must have all the original testimonials at the time of interview. 

13. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
